Thank you for visiting the the South Texas Amateur Boxing Association (STABA).

STABA is the governing body of amateur, Olympic-style boxing for the South Texas Region. STABA is responsible for the administration, development and promotion of Olympic-style boxing in south Texas which is a non-profit organization and is managed by a Board of Directors.

STABA is governed by USA Boxing, who is the national governing body which oversees a total of 56 Local Boxing Committees (LBCs), which are grouped into 14 geographical regions. These LBCs, along with their coaches, athletes, and officials, form the grassroots foundation of USA Boxing and Olympic-style boxing in the United States. USA Boxing's athlete membership is comprised of both male and female boxers, including children from ages 8 years old to 16 years of age, which comprise the Junior Olympic Division, a senior division 17-34 years of age, and a Master's Division (35 and older).
